Analyzing some pre-1850 census entries

Sunday's column on analyzing some pre-1850 census entries is just about ready for distribution. For some reseachers using these enumerations to their fullest is difficult. This week we outline a likely family structure based upon 1810-1840 enumerations, concentrating on what the listings tell us and what they don't.

Also included are some comments on clues outside the family that are also indicated by the census.

Subscribers who sign up before Sunday at 6:00 pm (central) will get Sunday's issue. We'll be posting a few images here for those who get the email version of the newsletter.
