Earlier this week I posted a picture of a tombstone and indicated I was working on those individuals for an upcoming article.
The good news is that as I'm writing the article and gathering "forgotten" details for citations, I'm finding additional material. In a way that is bad as I've got to quit gathering new information and put together what I actually have.
The lady on the left of the stone was the focus of a lecture I gave at the recent Illinois State Genealogical Society conference. Fortunately I just located new information on her that I did not have when I presented the lecture last week. How I located it is interesting, but honestly it was more luck than anything else. That'll be a part of an upcoming issue of Casefile Clues early in November.
