This is the 1880 census enumeration (in part) for Christian Troutfetter and his family. He was living as a butcher in Alexandria, Clark County, Missouri, right across the Mississippi River from his Trautvetter relatives in Hancock County, Illinois. The infamous Philip is listed as fourteen in this enumeration. This entry completes every census entry for Christian between 1860 and 1910.

Careful readers might notice that Christian is listed as Troutfetter and the rest of his family is listed as Trautvetter. I'm not certain what caused him to use a slightly different spelling from his relatives who stayed in Illinois.
