Some already know about these, but just in case you do not. I maintain two "daily" sites which are both free and both have fan pages on Facebook.

• Genealogy Tip of the Day--http://genealogytipoftheday.blogspot.com. One genealogy tip every day. 
• Daily Genealogy Transcriber--http://genealogytranscriber.blogspot.com. One signature or short piece of handwriting to read every day. Users can post their interpretations and usually I post the "answer" within a day or so.
